Trial location(s) Pithara, WA
Barley variety x fungicide locations
Aims

To compare new and existing barley varieties and their response to different fungicides.

Key messages
  • This trial was severely impacted by both an acid subsoil layer and compaction zone, which has reduced yields significantly with the dry finish in September and October.
  • The best yielding barley varieties were Buloke and the imidazzilinone tolerant variety VBHT805, yeilding 0.95t/ha dn 1.04t/ha respectively.
