Trial details

Researcher(s) Clare Johnston (Liebe Group)
Year(s) 2012
Contributor Liebe Group
Trial location(s) West Buntine, WA
Compaction, soil health demonstration locations
Aims

To evaluate the effects of mouldboard ploughing and deep ripping on a yellow sand

Key messages

Mouldboard ploughing changed the soil structure, inverting the top 30cm of soil and creating a new profile including soil pH. Interestingly there was also a pH response to deep
ripping.
