Aims

To compare existing wheat varieties, evaluate new breeding material and to assess the disease responses of
germplasm (particularly stripe rust).

Key messages
  • Average grain yield from wheat varieties was 5.1 t/ha but due to differences in disease resistance there was a broad range from 6.9 to 1.6 t/ha.
