Aims

To compare new and existing wheat varieties and their suitability in the Mallee and Wimmera, either sown dry or after the break.

Key messages

Sowing early increased yields by 0.5t/ha at Watchupga East and Horsham. Corack and Mace topped the yields at Watchupga East. Cobra and Mace were the highest yielding varieties at Horsham.
