Trial location(s) Kerang, VIC
Nitrogen contribution of fabas demonstration locations
Aims

To determine the amount of N contributed by a faba bean crop in the following season.

Key messages

The faba crop contributed a significant amount of N, resulting in less symptoms of waterlogging during winter, reduced N applied through the season but insignificant yield effects and changes to barley grain quality.
