Irrigated canola row spacing and sowing rate trial locations
Aims

To assess the effect on yield of wider row spacing and plant populations on canola.

Key messages
  • Wider row spacing will decrease yield but the decrease was not significant until large changes were made.
  • Canola yields prove to be stable despite different plant populations but seasonal differences could change the outcome.
