Controlling annual ryegrass (and other weeds) in fence lines to reduce glyphosate resistance development locations
Aims

Herbicide and application timing alternatives to control annual ryegrass and other weeds in fence lines and prevent the onset of resistance.

Key messages
  • A single application of Uragan (bromacil) plus paraquat in May gave complete control of all weeds at all sites over both rates. However, the additional expense, soil erosion risk and irsk to remnant vegetation need to be considered.
