Treatments correspond to those in NAG_2011_1 2012 was a breakcrop year 2013 wheat yields were limited by very dry growing conditions. K had no effect on grain quality. Water repellence and/or subsoil compaction may be limiting yield potential and therefore the requirement for K fertiliser
