Aims

To determine the rates of copper and zinc required for maximum grain yield of wheat grown on yellow earthy sands.

Key messages
  • Neither Cu or Zn increased grain yield
  • Zinc did not reduced yield of wheat with Cu nil. Cu application gave  no yield increase without Zn applied.
  • Combination of 5.5 kg Cu sulfate and 8.25 kg Cu sulfate depressd yield.
  • Plainsuperphosphate and aerophos+gypsum gave maximum yield.
