Aims

To determine the rates of copper and zinc required for maximum grain yield of wheat grown on  grey brown lateritic sands .

Key messages
  • Cu increased  graiin yield with  all Zn.
  • No depression of 3.3 kg ZnO on grain yield across Cu levels
  • Concluded that Cu sulfate at 2.75 kg/ha and ZnO @ 0.8 kg /ha .
  • Plainsuperphosphate gave higher yield than aerophos + gypsum Zn addition required for grain yield of oats and also clover growth..
