Aims

To determine the rates of copper and zinc required for maximum grain yield of wheat grown on  yellow siliceous sands.

Key messages
  • Cu & Zn either separately or in combination increased grain yield.
  • Combination of 11 Kg Cu sulfate and 3.3 kg ZnO recommended
  • Follow with a combination of 5.5  Kg Cu sulfate and 1.6 kg ZnO recommended in following crops.
  • No information on Zn depressing yield with nil or low rates of Cu.
