Aims

To report on the mouse monitoring program; part of a 3 year study funded by the GRDC to monitor mouse populations and forecast the liklihood of mouse outbreaks.

Key messages
  • Moderate to high mouse abundance in some Yorke Peninsula, Adelaide Plains, parts of Eyre Peninsula and Macalister.
  • Low mouse abundance elsewhere in South Australia and Queensland, and low across Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
  • The National Mouse Census Week is set for 13=19 April 2015.
