Trial details

Researcher(s) Jason Brand (DPIVic)
Year(s) 2010
Contributor Southern Pulse Agronomy
Trial location(s) Minnipa, SA
Stubble management, LRZ Upper Eyre Peninsula (Minnipa), South Australia locations
Aims
  • To maximise yield of new field pea varieties through the identification of optimum sowing dates.
Key messages
  • Since soil moisture was not limiting, and a soft finish to the season was observed, sowing date trials at Minnipa in 2010 showed no differences in yield between stubble treatments under these conditions.
  • This trial will be repeated in the same environment to validate across seasons.
