Aims

To test the yield response of new varieties and advanced lines of chickpeas to changes in plant populations in south western NSW. 

Key messages
  • There were no significant varietal differences in either the curvature or linear response to plant
    density.
  • There was however highly significant main effects of variety and plant density and an overall curvature effect.
