Field pea plant population, Wagga Wagga, NSW locations
Aims

To test the yield response of new varieties and advanced lines of fieldpeas to changes in plant populations in southern NSW.

Key messages
  • The main effects of variety and plant density were highly significant.
  • There was a distinct and significant curvature response to increasing densities with some varieties showing greater yield increase with increase populations.
