Recently, breeders have released a number of new winter wheat genotypes suited to early sowing. In 2019, field experiments were conducted at two sites: Wallendbeen (southern NSW) and Wongarbon (central NSW) to determine the influence of phenology on grain yield responses for a set of 16 commercial and newly released genotypes in response to sowing date (SD).
