To test of barley varieties on acid soils.

  • There was significant rain in early April.
  • The paddock was cultivated wet at the time of seeding.
  • Seeding was delayed due to seed supply problem.
  • There were some dry periods but adequte rainfall overall. Some frosts occurred in July/August.
  • Main weed problem was radish.
