Trial location(s) Dalwallinu, WA
Disease and temperature pressure on chickpea yields locations
Aims

To demonstrate the disease resistance of new Sonali, Rupali and Genesis836 and potential releases Genesis90 and Genesis508, chickpea varieties.

Key messages
  • The trial at Dalwallinu suffered from low soil temperature after sowing.
  • Disease was not a larege problem at this trial as the level of inoculum would have been very low.
  • Bird damage accounts for some of the large standard deviaitons in the Genesis 90.
