Aims

To compare at seeding, delayed and split application of nitrogen at varying phosphorus rates.

Key messages
  • The trial responded by 800kg/ha to 30kg N/ha and 1200kg/ha to 60kg N/ha.
  • However, there were no significant responses to splitting or delaying the nitrogen applications.
