  • Sowing: Row Spacing
Trial type Experimental
Trial design Replicated

East Pithara 2011

Sow date 23 May 2011
Harvest date Not specified
Plot size 100m x 15.3m
Plot replication 3
Fertiliser

23/5/11: 50 kg/ha Agflow

Herbicide

1.1 kg/ha Simazine, 0.4 kg/ha Diuron

Other trial notes

Grub infestations attacked the pods of the chickpea, resulting in a lack of seed development. As a result a high number of pods are unable to produce seed, significantly reducing crop yield. Grub infestations attacked the pods of the chickpea, resulting in a lack of seed development. As a result a high number of pods are unable to produce seed, significantly reducing crop yield. Poor Diuron incorporation resulted in weeds in furrow but not on ridges.
