Aims

To investigate some practical options for direct drilling wheat into wheat stubbles in the Mallee.

  • Yipti wheat is highly adapted to the Mallee environment. It is consistently one of the highest yielding varieties and has excellent quality characteristics.
  • Yeipti is not hte best variety for direct drilling into wheat stubble as it is very susceptible to yellow leaf spot.
