Trifluralin mixes for the control of ryegrass locations
Aims

To investigate pre-sowing and post sowing pre-emergent options for the control of Group A resistant ryegrass.

Key messages

Trifluralin and related Group D herbicides are effective in controlling Group A herbicide resistant ryegrass, however when they are consistently used without other control practices resistance will develop. Ryegrass with Group D (trifluralin) resistance is already common in some areas.
