Establishment of wheat as influenced by seeding systems locations
Aims

To evaluate the interaction between seeding systems and pre-emergence herbicides on the establishment of wheat, on two contrasting soil types.

Key messages

The knifepoint plus press wheel seeding system consistently maximised wheat seedling establishment on sand and clay soils, independently of herbicide application.
