Aims

To determine the level of herbicide resistance to selective in-crop herbicides in annual ryegrass across western Victoria using random weed surveys.

  • Resistance to trifluralin is increasing.
  • A new pre-emergent herbicides should become a fundamental part of an integrated weed management strategy to aid in control of multiple-resistant ryegrass.
