Aims

To select milling quality wheat lines that have good yield potential, grain quality and disease resistance for growing in the high rainfall zone of southern Australia.

Key messages

There is some excellent material coming through the programme, with significantly higher yields than the existing check varieties. At this stage grain quality tests have not been done.
