Aims

To evaluate a number of varieties that are either commercially available or close to commercial release that may be suitable for the growing conditions of southern Victoria.

Key messages
  • The average yield for the Spring wheat trial at Dunkeld was 7.46 t/ha.
  • The highest yield was achieved by Presong (8.54 t/ha) a mid to long seaons APW wheat, followed by Derrimut 8.19 t/ha and Lincoln 8.17 t/ha.
