Key messages
Eradicating SLN using only herbicides appears to be very doubtful. It is therefore time to consider how to coexist
with the problem weed; at least for the next few years. It is necessary to identify options and implement
cost-effective strategies that prevent the spread of the weed and suppress the infestations. The options
should not be a drain on the farms cash reserves or a strain on one's mental health.
