Aims

To report on the Goonumbla Management trial: NSW DPI Field pea sowing rate trial.

Key messages
  • For the newer semi-leafless varieties Kaspa and Moonlight, the recommended plant population is around 35 plants/m2 for early sowings to 50 plants/m2 for late sowing.
  • For the other semi-leafless varieties, 40 plants/m2 is recommended for early sowing and 60 plants/m2 for later sowings.
