Aims
  • To establish a lime application and incorporation trial that can be monitored over a 5 year period.
  • To investigate the benefits of lime application and incorporation.
Key messages
  • There was not a significant response to lime at this site but a trend towards increased yields was observed.
  • It is not understood why deep ripping without lime resulted in a decreased yield at this site.
