Trial details

Researcher(s) David Harbison (Hi-Fert Fertilisers)
Year(s) 2001
Contributor Central West Farming Systems
Trial location(s) Condobolin, NSW
Phosphorus responses in canola locations
Aims

To quanitfy these grain yield increases achievable in wheat and canola in the central west of NSW through varying P rate experiments.

Key messages

This years findings mirror those of last year. The trials demonstrated that current P application rates may be suboptimal, and significant grain yield gains may be achieved by applying greater amounts of P.

Acknowledgments

I would like to thank very much the cooperator, Richard Westcott, for his support during the year. Also the CWFS organisation for their assistance in getting these trials planted and harvested.
