Aims

To study the interaction between herbicides and Zn nutrition of wheat.

Key messages
  • Chlorsulfuron (e.g. Glean) was found to reduce wheat yields at some sites.
  • No Zinc (Zn) responses were recorded at any of the sites.
  • Phosphorus (P) response was closely correlated with soil P levels.
  • Increasing Zn and P nutrition did not reduce the Chlorsulfuron effect.
