Aims

The demonstrate the effects of increasing N fertiliser rates on harvest index and stubble N%.

Key messages

Increased rates of N resulted in increased biomass, but the relationship between stubble N content and applied N was poor.

Higher applied  N resulted in higher Harvest Index

Harvest Index ranged from 0.45 to 0.47.
