Aims

To evaluate herbicides options for the pre-harvest desiccation of lentils in the low rainfall Northern Mallee. 

Key messages
  • There was no statistically significant effect of herbicide treatments on the grain yield of lentils or pod maturation (see Table 3 in attached trial report summary).  Although there were no significant differences for grain yield or pod maturity, the treatments resulted in visual differences in foliage greenness 7 days post application.
