Aims

To explore lupin varieties in the south east region.

Key messages

• NVT yields ranged from 0.82 t/ha at Frances to 0.63 t/ha at Keith.
• Yields were well below long-term average of 1.66 t/ha for the region.
• New variety PBA Jurien has the highest long term average for the region.
• PBA Gunyidi was the highest yielding variety at Keith and Frances in 2015.
• Due to the extreme seasonal conditions, 2015 results need to be interpreted with caution and long-term data should be consulted when making varietal decisions.
