To investigate the impact of different management strategies in RT canola (containing both Roundup Ready tolerance and Triazine Tolerant herbicide technology) and wheat on the long-term control of Select-resistant ryegrass.
• Maintaining ryegrass seedbanks at low levels is critical due to the weeds competitive nature and ability to rapidly evolve resistance
• Effective management strategies in a canola and wheat cropping rotation can provide long-term management of Group A resistant ryegrass
• This trial was conducted in Victoria; varieties and some technologies utilised in this trial are not registered for use in South Australia.
