Soil mixing and Liming Trial, Kybybolite locations
Aims

To improve the physical and chemical condition of an acidic loam over clay soil.

Key messages
  • Sapding or delving in lime lifted the soil pH to a depth of 20cm within one year.
  • All other results are inconclusive at this stage; this may be due to seasonal conditions and/or crop variety.
