To assess pod loss and shattering of different varieties and to assess impact of harvest timing and pod ceal on the ability to retain seeds/pods
• Pod Ceal® had negative effects on pod drop and pod shatter losses in lentil at Tooligie in 2021.
• Varietal selection was the most important factor influencing grain yield.
• Delayed harvest was associated with higher yields compared to a timely harvest.
