Sow rate or Target density 10, 20 pl/m2
Sow date 30/4/21
Harvest date Not specified
Plot size 1.44m x 9.8m
Plot replication 4
Plot randomisation Split-plot: Main plot Fungicide strategy; Sub-plot Variety x Pl/m2
Other trial notes

Growers report an excessive reduction in pod number with increased biomass caused by earlier sowing or higher plant densities. Wider row spacings may resolve this issue by increasing light penetration, adding extra value to other farming system benefits that may arise from wider row spacing such as reduces sowing costs with retained stubble management.
