Other trial notes

PBA Bendoc was the first faba bean with tolerance to imidazolinone herbicides and has been widely adopted by industry, due to the weed control benefits. However this variety, has lower yield and yield stability than PBA Samira and greater disease susceptibility. New breedlin lines with improved disease resistance and yield are currently being progressed through the breeding program.
