The aim to this trial is to determine how different phosphorus application rates and placement methods affect the establishments, biomass and grain yield of Faba Beans and Chickpeas.
• Faba beans were unresponsive to phosphorus with neither rate nor placement having an effect on crop establishment, biomass or grain yield.
• Chickpeas were also unresponsive to phosphorus rate and placement with inconsistent effects on crop establishment, biomass and grain yield.
