Management strategies for Septoria tritici blotch (STB) in wheat in the medium and low rainfall zones of Southern Australia: Fungicide timing locations
Aims

To observe the effect of fungicide application timing in controlling Septoria tritici blotch in wheat in the MRZ and LRZ of the Southern Australia.

Key messages
  • Fungicide applications demonstrated effective suppression of STB development in all the trials.
  • Fungicide application for STB was found not economical in 2021 in either of the MRZ or LRZ as there was no significant improvement in grain yield.
